Composition and team setup might not seem crucial in Disney’s charmingPixel RPG, but beneath its cute art style lies a challenging combat mechanic that requires players to carefully consider every move. In fact, defeating the game’s Hard Mode bosses necessitates a solid understanding of team compositions and alignments.
With this in mind, we’ve created a comprehensive guide that outlines best practices for team composition, along with two META lineup suggestions tailored for both beginner and advanced players.
How Compositions Work in Disney Pixel RPG
InDisney Pixel RPG, the default composition features a five-slot lineup arranged in two rows. The frontline includes three units, while the backline has two. When it comes to skill priority, units execute their moves in a specific order, starting from the top left slot and progressing to the bottom right. The order of execution is as follows: top left, middle, bottom left, top right, and finally bottom right.
You can set any of the unit’s moves to Defense to skip their turn. But this won’t affect the order in which other units will perform their skills.
The Best META Composition
AMETA composition inDisney Pixel RPGshould utilize all prominent roles: AoE, ATK, DEF, Buff, and Healer. To create an effective setup, start with a damage dealer that can target multiple enemies, such as Maleficent. Next, support your ATK units with a buff character in the middle (Genie is an excellent choice). For the final frontline unit, include a Striker who can deal significant damage to a single enemy, like Hero Mickey Mouse or Mulan.
In the back row, you have the option to use either a tank (to draw enemy attacks) or an additional buff unit. However, it’s essential to include one Healer, such as Rapunzel or Minnie Mouse, to maintain your team’s sustainability in battles.
Buffs stack up. So, when you have multiple buff units in the team, your other characters will start each wave with better stats.
Carnival Minnie Mouse
Healer (HP Regen)
The best beginner-level setup inDisney Pixel RPGis a standard ATK-oriented team featuring Carnival Mickey Mouse, Carnival Daisy Duck, Hero Mickey Mouse, Carnival Pluto, and Carnival Minnie Mouse. This lineup includes two damage dealers (Carnival Mickey and Hero Mickey), two support units (Carnival Pluto and Carnival Minnie), and a buff provider (Carnival Daisy Duck).
If you’re looking for a reliable early-game tank, replace Pluto with Goofy.
Rapunzel
Advanced players should consider this setup: Maleficent, Genie, Mulan, Pooh, and Rapunzel. This lineup features a powerful frontline,with Maleficent and Mulan as the main attackersand Genie providing essential buffs. The backup line is solid, with Pooh serving as the primary tank and Rapunzel as the ultimate healer.
