InThe Elder Scrolls: Castles, traits are unique characteristics that influence a subject’s performance. Each trait has varied effects depending on whether the character is a staff member, warrior, or ruler. For instance, Envious is a poor trait for a worker because it reduces productivity, but it’s beneficial for a ruler, as it boosts the castle’s material gains.
