Nexon Reveals Future Plans for The First Descendant
A photo mode is just the beginning of what Nexon has planned. In fact,Season 2 ofThe First Descendantis now less than a month away, bringing with it more content, unlockable characters, and the next piece of the game’s story. Not only that, Nexon is planning additional quality of life changes to the experience, teasing grappling hook and mobility changes as well.
However, Nexon is also planning on adding a pity system for its loot drops, giving players a way to guarantee incredibly rare resources. Known as the Target Reward system, rare items that drop fromAmorphous Materials inThe First Descendantare now guaranteed after players complete a set number of attempts without any luck getting them to drop normally. The system is similar to other gacha style games likeZenless Zone Zero, which guarantee certain character ranks after a set number of banner pulls have been completed.
