How To Craft The Weak Spear In The Forest
Crafting a Weak Spear is pretty easy inThe Forest. To make this tool, players only need to collecttwo Sticks. Thankfully, Sticks are quite common and can be gathered quickly from all around the peninsula.
Start byequipping any axe from your inventory. By now, you should already have thePlane Axesince it’s the first weapon you pick up after the crash. To grab it, just hit ‘I’ to open your inventory and click on the axe. Next, look for somesmall trees (or saplings)nearby; you’ll find plenty deeper in the forest. When you spot a sapling, simply left-click to chop it down. Each sapling will drop two to four Sticks.
Cutting down big trees will give you Logs, so try to avoid those while looking for Sticks.
Moreover,players can also get Sticks by breaking down wooden standsfound around the island. After you chop them, press the ‘E’ button to pick up the Sticks. Once you’ve collected the materials,open your inventory and right-click on each Stickto place them on the crafting mat. Then,right-click the gear icononce more to start the process, and the Weak Spear will be ready to use.
How To Use Weak Spear In The Forest
As mentioned above, the Weak Spear is a special tool players can use to catch fish or hunt animals inThe Forest. While roaming around the forested biome, Eric LeBlanc can spot fish in many areas, including the ocean, rivers, ponds, and even in caves.
Once the fish is found, take out the Weak Spear from your inventory bypressing the ‘I’ button and selecting it. After you have equipped it,hold down the right-clickto position the spear,then face the fish and left-click to throw it. It might take a few tries, so keep at it until you succeed. Playerscan use this spear to get animal meatand skin, especially from fast ones like Deer and Rabbits.
When thrown, the spear can betough to recover. So, gather plenty of Sticks to craft more on the go, as you can only carry one spear at a time in your inventory.
