How Wit Studio Is Handling The Show

The Studio Is Taking Utmost Care While Making The Anime

Wit Studio has big plans for the One Piece remake, and it wants to create something that will last forever. When the staff from Wit Studio took the stage on One Piece Day, they began to show the various concept art for the remake. The visuals showed characters interacting with each other. But the main highlight was seeing Wit Studio put out the concept art for the iconic scenes in the anime.

It included scenes from Syrup Village, Baratie, Orange Town, Foosha Village, Shells Town, and the inside of Laboon. From this, it is safe to conclude that Wit Studio will animate the show until the Straw Hats enter the Grand Line. So,fans will see Luffy recruitRoronoa Zoro, Nami, Usopp, and Sanji. Wit Studio also released the character design sheets for Luffy, Nami, Usopp, Zoro, and Sanji, which lends further credence to the claim that the entire East Blue Saga will be covered. The sheets show all the characters with different expressions, giving fans an idea of how they would look when they are animated.

It’s how we put each piece of the proper layout and acting in care…with addition to Koizuka’s mention of humor in the manga.

Aside from the concept art of the different places that the Straw Hats visit, Wit Studio also released artwork that showed things such as the interiors of the Going Merry, the objects inside Kaya’s mansion, and various food and other items in general. Finally, there were various images that highlighted Foosha Village’s demographics, culture, and geography. This provides additional information about the setting and helps fans understand the place better. If the remake expands on the daily life on the islands, it would be a welcome addition. For instance, if fans get to see how people live under the rule of a tyrant, it will make their defeat feel even better.

Who Is Working On The One Piece Remake

The Best Staff Is Helping With The Project

As One Piece is one of the biggest anime series in the world,Wit Studio will definitely wantto put its best people on it, and that’s exactly what happened.

So far, these are the staff members confirmed to be working on the One Piece remake. The studio will reveal more information in the future about other roles, such as who is handling music and sound.

What Was The Need For A Remake

The Wit Studio President Speaks Up

Many One Piece fans were skeptical about the remake and wanted to know why it was happening in the first place. The main moot point was that the original anime was still ongoing, so having a remake didn’t make sense. George Hada, the president of Wit Studio, spoke about theneed for the remake. He stated that the original anime is in 4:3 format, which is outdated and not used anymore. Watching the anime in the same format on modern-day devices is not ideal, and it would deter people from picking it up.

However, the biggest reason for the One Piece remake is the pacing. The original anime had spells where the pacing was diabolical, and the episodes would feel dragged. This made it a chore to sit through them. With the remake,Wit Studio will beresolving both issues. The One Piece remake will be in a modern format that will fit the new screens. The pacing will also be drastically improved, which means that episodes will have more canon content and fewer fillers.

If Wit Studio can successfully implement these changes in the remake, then there is no doubt that the anime will be a big success. One of the people involved with the remake even hinted towards the anime possibly becoming a long-running project just like the original. However, he did mention that it would depend on the reception that they got from the viewers. When the remake finally comes out, it will need to be a hit to push Wit Studio to create more seasons. Presently, there is no release date for the anime, but there might be an update towards the end of the year.
