When theOne Pieceanime remake was announced first, fans were unsure as to why it was even a thing in the first place. In fact, many fans still hold the sentiment because thecurrent anime is still going on. However, other fans were quick to realize that One Piece, as an anime entity, is not perfect. The adaptation that fans have right now is good, but it can be better and, at the same time, One Piece is not going to end anytime soon. To tap into its true potential and market it better to newer generations, a better adaptation of the series was absolutely necessary. That is precisely why the One Piece anime remake was announced. Naturally, fans had many questions about it, ranging from what the adaptation hoped to achieve, where it began, to how much of the story it would even cover.

Now, all thesedoubts have been cleared, and there is no more room for theorizing. Fans know exactly where the story is going to begin and how long it is going to last.

Before he enters the Grand Line, he is going to go to Loguetown, and with that, the East Blue segment of the story is going to officially wrap up. Of course, according to Koizuka, much of whether the series will continue for long or not depends upon the reception it gets and its success. If the anime is loved by all and is a successful product, then fans will most definitely get to see it continue for years upon years. If the anime somehow flops, then it is highly likely that the anime project is going to be paused. Will The One Piece Remake Be Seasonal?

The Remake Of One Piece Could Switch To A Seasonal Format

There are many questions about the format that theOne Pieceanime is going to take. For now, all fans know is that the series is going to beginwith the East Blue Sagaand that theyhope for it to be a long-running anime. There is absolutely no word about whether the series is going to be seasonal or if it will be a weekly anime like the current Toei version. If they are truly planning to follow in the footsteps of modern anime, thenOne Pieceis likely going to be seasonal. A weekly anime is going to ensure that the production quality suffers, and then inconsistencies start to creep in,making the product similar to the current One Piece anime.

There is also a hybrid option, where they don’t particularly have a set number of episodes for a season and simply take breaks in between, continuing in the long run in a manner that only works for this particular adaptation. For instance, instead of doing the standard 24 episodes per season,One Piececould do 36 before taking a break and then working on the second season. Of course, all this is just conjecture, and fans will have to wait more to see what approach they are going to take, but right now, there is absolutely no confirmation on whether they are going to get a 24-episode season or something else.

The One Piece will be streamable onNetflixwhen it drops next year.
