One Of The Greed Siblings That Can Eat Memories
Devilish since his first introduction,Lye Batenkaitoshas been one of the more integral Sin Archbishops of the Witch Cult, representing gluttony alongside his brother, Roy Alphard. Famed fordefeating Crusch Karsten and Rem, Lye possesses the ability to devour names and memories, resulting in his victims losing their purpose. At the same time, their friends can even fail to remember them, which is the case for the blue-haired maid Rem.
With a variety of offensive attacks accumulated from eating souls due to his Authority of Gluttony, Lye has become a well-rounded villain who has tormented many in his time inRe:Zero.
2Petelgeuse Romanee-Conti
Kind Man Who Turned Into A Corrupt And Evil Sin Archbishop Of Sloth
Petelgeuse Romanee-Contiemerges as the first Sin Archbishop introduced, becoming Subaru’s main enemy in Season 1. Although initially a kind man who was particularly close with a young Emilia, Petelgeuse absorbed the Witch Factor of Sloth, turning him into a crazed and destructive man obsessed with the Witch of Envy.
Throughout Season 1, Petelgeuse utilizes the Authority of Sloth, allowing the menace to use the Unseen Hand, a multifunctional ability enabling various hands to attack or defend, with nearly all enemies failing to see his moves. His outrageous power, mixed with his chaotic personality, made Petelgeuse a fierce opponent forSubaru and his trusted partywhen trying to save Arlam Village and the inhabitants of Roswaal Manor.
3Julius Juukulius
Sworn Knight That Harnesses The Power Of Spirits To Tackle Evil
ThoughJulius Juukuliusstarted as Subaru’s rival, the knight developed, becoming friendly with the protagonist as he joined Subaru’s fight against the deadly Witch Cult. Known for representing the Royal Selection favorite, Anastasia Hoshin, Julius has stood out in Lugunica through hisability to harness the power of spirits, often being regarded as the Spirit Knight.
One of Julius' most significant accomplishments in the field was his integral involvement in helping defeat Petelgeuse, the Sin Archbishop of Sloth, alongside Subaru, utilizing his unusual skillset to bring down the vessel of evil. Despite his immense talent, Julius has his work cut out for him as he and Ricardo Welkin are tasked with taking on Roy, one of the three representatives of Gluttony in the Witch Cult, with their battle set to be a fierce matchup.
4Wilhelm Van Astrea
Experienced Swordsman That Has A Deep And Profound Love For The Former Sword Saint
Wilhelm van Astreamay appear old, but the experienced combatant has plenty of vigor left, as he has shown so far inRe:Zero. Serving Crusch and House Karsten, Wilhelm is a famed member of the van Astrea clan, the family that passes down the Sword Saint power generation by generation. Formally married to Theresia van Astrea, the former Sword Saint, Wilhelmenacted his revenge on the White Whale, delivering a decisive blow to the great Mabeast that struck down his dear wife.
Despite his wife being the Sword Saint, Wilhelm defeated his wife in single combat, showing his prowess with the blade when in his prime. In the current arc, Wilhelm is facing off once again with his wife, this time her controlled corpse, with the Witch Cult forcing Wilhelm and Garfiel Tinzel into a problematic and challenging tag team battle.

Adolescent Demi-Human Able To Transform Into A Vicious Beast
Despite being effectively a child,Garfielis one of the strongest fighters inRe:Zero, with his potential being sky-high, considering his age. Initially a nuisance for Subaru, Garfiel has grown into a dependable member of Team Emilia, with his hard-fought victory over the harrowing Elsa Granhiert at Roswaal Manor only showcasing Garfiel’s potential,with his demi-human ability totransform into a ginormous tiger enabling Garfiel to amass great strength.
While dealing with the reunion with his mother, Garfiel has stepped up in Priestella, hoping to avenge Mimi Pearlbaton’s injury. As a result, his current battle alongside Wilhelm against a corpse-controlled Theresia and Kurgan, two fearsome warriors, pushes Garfiel to his limits.
6Sirius Romanée-Conti
Crazed Sin Archbishop That Emits Emotions Onto Others
The cliffhanger in Episode 1of Season 3 was provided by the actions of the elusiveSirius Romanée-Conti, the Sin Archbishop of Wrath, who eliminated Subaru and hundreds of Priestella citizens in an instant. Consumed by an obsession with Petelgeuse, whom she often confuses Subaru for, the Sin Archbishop is a fearsome opponent, with Sirius being able to defeat Emilia in one-on-one combat due to her unbelievable physical strength.
Capable of transmitting her emotions or those of others to the masses, Sirius has inflicted death on hundreds through her unique ability, making Sirius a formidable antagonist to overcome in the Attack Arc.
7Priscilla Barielle
Vile Vixen Who Becomes A Force To Be Reckoned When In Combat
The monstrous and vindictivePriscilla Bariellehas become a significant player inRe:Zero’sthird season, showing her capabilities in combat despite herinnocent-looking image as a princess. While Priscilla shows ease when dispatching Capella’s minions to save Subaru from imminent danger, Priscilla has shown her true potential in her showdown with Sirius in the Counterattack Arc.
With the aid of the bard, Liliana Masquerade, Priscilla manages to outwit and outmaneuver the dangerous Sin Archbishop, displaying quick reactions, immense strength, and an undeterred will that sees the Royal Selection Candidate seemingly besting her foe inRe:Zero’slatest outing.
8Capella Emerada Lugunica
Lustful Villain Able To Transform Into Other Characters
One of Season 3’s newest characters isCapella Emerada Lugunica,the Sin Archbishop of Lust. Although her appearance does not come off as intimidating, Capella’s ability has been shown to terrify Subaru, stopping him in his tracks as Capella transforms herself and others into other people or creatures.
Shown when transforming into Emilia, Capella is able to deceive her foes, lowering their guards and allowing her to strike. Capella’s transfiguration ability even allowed the Sin Archbishop to turn an innocent citizen into a fully grown dragon, with her ability to create minions to fight on her behalf being a scary power when utilized.
9Echidna
Witch Of Greed And Teacher Of Many
Echidna, the Witch of Greed, was one of the main characters duringRe:Zero’s second season, oftenbeing an antagonist to Subaruand Emilia. As the creator of Puck and Beatrice, while being the mentor of the original Roswaal L. Mathers, Echidna has had a lot of influence, with the Witch of Greed’s power and influence being seen throughoutRe:Zero.
As a master magic user who can use six different elements to perfection, Echidna is a potent mage who ranks as one of the strongest individuals in terms of influence and combat abilities.

The mysterious and alluringRoswaalis a character who possesses otherworldly magic abilities that have seen him live for several centuries, leading him to be a significant presence in many characters' lives, such as Rem and Ram. Learning from the witch Echidna, whom he loves, Roswaal is regarded as one of the most powerful magic users in all ofRe:Zero, with his different bodies all possessing immense power.
The current iteration of Roswaal is able to use all six different elements of magic, a feat very few have been able to achieve, showing the talent and strength of the Witch of Greed’s student.
