One constant is that the Red Ranger is always one of the most powerful rangers on the squad, consistently acting as the team leader. Some Red Rangers trained diligently for the chance to be arranged, while others came across the opportunity by completely accident. However, being a red ranger brings the best out of any who step into the shoes of those that came before. Caset Rhodes was a powerhouse among his teammates as the Red Jungle Fury Ranger. Starring in the sixteenth season of Power Ranger, Casey embodies the spirit of the beast, modeled after a wild tiger. Casey radiates ferocious aggression with his beast spirit, which always shows itself in combat. Casey was chosen to be a ranger along with his friends after Dai Shais escaped into the world and took to the role of swimmingly. Learning from every failure and focusing on every win, Casey rose to the challenge of being the Red Ranger, unlike any other.

Shane attended the ninja academy with his best friends in hopes of being a protector of justice. After the sinister Lothor attacked the academy, in an elevating series of events, Shane found himself as the Red Ranger and the leader of a three-person ranger squad in the blink of an eye. Always having a strong sense of justice, Shane is the moral pillar of the Rangers, always putting the right thing to do ahead of the best option or safest path. Shane’s fighting skill is highly above average as his focus and skill are unmatched, even by other squad standards.

Zayto is a character in the Power Ranger franchise that may have evolved and risen above every ranger before him. Initially the red ranger of the Dino Fury Rangers, over sixty million years ago, Zayto returned to the mantle of Red Ranger in Powe Rangers Dino Fury after an ancient evil reemerged.
Zayto displayed unyielding strength and resolute leadership towards his team until his death at the hands of the nemesis beast. However, Zayto has risen to new heights after being revived by the Morphin Masters and becoming one himself.

Power Rangers Time Forcecould be considered the peak ofPower Rangersfiction. It introduced a not-so-well-put-together team of Rangers who could not fully mesh as a unit and went through numerous trials and tribulations after the death of their previous leader, primarily due to the inexperience of the replacement leader of this set of Rangers'. Wesley Collins was the son of a wealthy family who had lived a sheltered life.
When the Time Rangers sought out Wesley due to his close DNA relationship with the original Red Time Force Ranger, he was cast aside quickly due to his childish behavior putting the team in jeopardy. However, Wesley learned fast what it means to be a Power Ranger and became one of the most outstanding leaders in the team’s history. He has since joined forces with multiple teams throughout the timeline, including the Forever Red team-up, which featured every Red Ranger up to that point.

T.J.always wanted to be a Power Ranger since he was a kid, and his wish would be granted upon proving himself in battle by saving Tommy Oliver’s life. Upon Tommy’s departure, T.J. was chosen as his replacement, donning the Red Ranger uniform, and taking the leadership of the Turbo Rangers team in stride.
T.J. was a well-respected and courageous leader who always seemed to make the right decision at the right time. He was also the first African American Red Ranger inPower Rangershistory, and he brought a large amount of aura and class to the role, elevating the character among the top Rangers in history, which was proven inSuper Megaforce. While a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield, T.J.’s true strength was his infallible kindness, which he extended to anyone, friend or foe.

Power Rangers Wild Forceis the eighth iteration of thePower Rangerfranchise and is one of its most popular series with some of the most beloved designs and memorable stories.Cole Evansstepped onto the scene as the wild card of the Wild Force Rangers, serving as both the leader and most impulsive Ranger, which was strange for a Red Ranger in particular.
Frequently acting on pure instinct, Cole constantly jumped before thinking, forcing his team to keep up. However, after a few growing pains, Cole eventually became a reliable leader with the help of the Rangers' Overseer, Princess Shayla. On the battlefield, Cole was just as fierce and impulsive as he was off of it. He ran into every battle with a fiery ferocity and unrelenting drive, making him appear unstoppable.

Amelia Jonesstarted out as the PinkPower Rangers Dino FuryRanger, a somewhat quirky but kind young Ranger who balanced the team out with their exorbitant ideas of the paranormal. Upon the return ofLord Zed, and with the galaxy’s fate hanging in the balance, Amelia and five of her teammates are called to action to take their fight into space and evolve their power into something greater inPower Rangers Cosmic Fury.
While not entirely prepared, Amelia took to leadership relatively quickly and proved herself to be a dependable and confident Red Ranger on the battlefield. Amelia’s lighthearted attitude was a welcome difference from most Red Ranger leaders in the franchise.

Nick Russellcame into being a Power Ranger by accident and by being in the right place at the wrong time, placing him in the path of the Mystic Force Rangers, the twelfth iteration of thePower Rangersfranchise. Nick is brought into the story as a nonbeliever who is destined to become the Red Ranger after his mind is opened.
Following Nick’s enlightenment, he played a pivotal part in revitalizing the Power Ranger team, who had been suffering in a battle for the world while trying to prevent the Darkness from arising. While he was initially a skeptic, Nick took to magic quickly, mastering multiple levels of his own power, and in turn, he also elevated the abilities of his teammates, as every good leader should.

Androsis a celebrated fan-favorite Ranger who first appeared inPower Rangers In Space, a series that focused on a team of Rangers who explored the cosmos and fought evil across multiple worlds. Hailing from a faraway world called KO-35, Andros appeared on the battlefield as a stranger to those who would eventually become his new team.
Andros has a long history as a Ranger as he and his best friend enlisted into the military at a young age and were chosen to become Rangers relatively early in their career. While Andros is an incredible fighter, he is also a very pragmatic individual, which made him a more than qualified leader for the former Turbo Rangers team. Andros also has a number of accomplishments in his Ranger history, including being the very first Ranger to receive a Battlelizer.

Troy Burrowsis theMegaforceandSuper MegaforceRed Ranger, who was chosen due to the adversity he had faced and his determination. Burrows had previously experienced several premonitions of a coming war between legendary Rangers and an unseen evil that would rival all others. With this dark cloud hanging on the horizon, Burrows took his role as the Red Ranger very seriously and did not falter, even as the Earth came under threat of invasion.
As the Super Megaforce Red Ranger, Troy faced every battle head-on, and with the power that he controls, it can be argued that he is one of the most powerful Red Ranger forms in the franchise. Wielding the Super Megaforce Morpher, Troy can harness the power of past Red Rangers to enhance his power.
