There are some areas inThrone and Libertythat can be truly tough to survive in, making their respective Codex quests much harder to complete. Some of the areas that come up later in the game come with a lot of enemies that can easily overwhelm a player if they are not adequately prepared to fight for their lives. One of these areasis the Fonos Basin, which can be found just north of the game’s starting area but really shouldn’t be ventured into until players have reached the highest levels of the game.

The Fonos Basin area comes with a pretty tricky quest called Resistance’s Role Model, which tasks players with trying to infiltrate the base of some antagonistic Orcs in the region. The steps of the quest seem easy enough at first, but there are some tricky things that players haveto be aware of when they decide to tackle the mission. In fact, players should only take this quest on once they have reached the game’s maximum level. At that point, they can take care of what they need to do relatively easily, following this guide to see the quest brought to a close.

Throne and Liberty - Resistance’s Role Model

How To Complete Resistance’s Role Model

There are four objectivesthat players will need to complete for this quest:

First, however, players need to complete another Codex questcalled Land of the Wild, Fonos Basin. This will give players the Orc Brawler Morph, which they will need for this mission. Once they have this, they canfinish the objectivesby doing the following.

Throne and Liberty - Victor

Talk To The Watcher’s Post Captain

The quest begins easily enough by asking playersto speak with Victor, the captain of Watcher’s Post. He can be found standing in front of a tent just north of the Watcher’s Post waystone. He will be the one who tasks players withinfiltrating the Orc settlementand stealing some items from them. Now, it’s time to move on to the meat of the quest.

Use The Catapult

That’s right: players will haveto launch themselves into the Orc encampmentwith a nearby catapult to infiltrate the Orc ranks. Sure, the base is within walking distance, but Victor really wants you to go flying into it instead.

The catapult isfound to the north of where players can find VIctor, standing in front of a large rock/hill. Using the grappling hook, players will need to climb atop this rock to find a lever they need to use. This will bring the catapult down to where they can jump on and wait for it to launch them into enemy territory.

Enter Fire Cave Without Being Attacked

This is where things get a little trickier, and it starts with players needing touse their Glide Morph to coast down to a rock, on the left, that is looking out over the Orcs. If a player just lands where the catapult sends them, they run a high risk of dying from fall damage.

On top of this rock, players will then needto shapeshift into the Orc Brawler Morphso they can drop down and not be attacked. Using this disguise, players need to head to the north, towards the quest icon on their map to enter into Fire Cave.

Throne and Liberty - Orc Morph

During this, they need toavoid running into any Orc enemiesto keep their disguise going.

Inside the cave, they simply need to keepheading to the mini-map icon, and they will come across the goods on a throne of sorts. They’ll then interact with them to take them for themselves. The issue here is that this will get rid of the Orc Brawler disguise, but players could get lucky. Sometimes, the nearby enemies won’t noticethat there is now a human among them that just took some important materials.

Throne and Liberty - Orc Goods

If this is the case, players canfast travel out of Fire Caveback to Watcher’s Post. If they are seen, though, they willneed to defeat the enemiesuntil they have a moment to get back to Watcher’s Post.

Speak With Watcher’s Post Captain

The final step is another easy one, as players just needto return to Victorand speak with him. Doing so will bring this quest to an end.
