First things first. It does not matterwhich turtle character you chooseinSplintered Fate, it takes quite a few runs until you’re able to even reach Shredder, let alone beat him. However, you would be wrong if you think beating Shredder the first time means beating the game. It only restarts the rogue-lite loop, encouraging you to start a new run to get even stronger.

Additionally, the mysterious new villain who kidnapped Splinter gives a subtle hint that the game is only just beginning.So what happens to Splinter?He remains trapped in the portal dimension even after you beat Shredder.

Even though you beat Shredder and rescued Splinter, there is still the matter of the new villain. Who is he really? What does he want? Unfortunately,Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Splintered Fatedoes not dive into that, at least not yet.

​​​​​​​Following the true ending, the turtles mention their work is still not done. The game will likely pursue the storyline with more content in 2025 as part of itsDLC roadmap. Expect new playable characters to join the roster, new levels and bosses to beat, and “many more surprises” with further expansions.
