Demon Slayerhas cemented itself as one of the best-known shonen series of all time. This series quickly exploded in popularity after its first season, and reached incredible highs. The series’ popularity only grew from there onwards with Season 2. The firstDemon Slayermovie, Mugen Train, also broke records, and is, to this day, the highest-grossing Japanese movie ever.
Now, 5 years after the manga ended,Demon Slayer’smanga has reached a new milestone. The manga now has over 220 million copies in circulation. The bulk of this is coming from Japan, with a total of 164 million, while the rest of the world is contributing 56 million, which is still a very impressive number.

While the manga sales are already absolutely amazing, it’s only about to get crazier. The Demon Slayer manga has already ended, but it will still have quite a backlog of sales, all thanks to the movies.The first movie of the Infinity Castle trilogy has dropped in Japan already, and the rest of the world will follow soon. This is going to reignite interest in the series, and sales will explode every time a new movie drops. TheDemon Slayerseries could definitely surpass 250 million by 2028. What’s shocking is that it will achieve all of that with just 23 volumes.

The Demon Slayer manga concluded long ago, in 2020 to be specific. The story is rather short compared to most other series, and only spans over 205 chapters. Fans of the series who don’t want to wait for the movies to drop can check the manga out on Manga Plus.
Meanwhile, for the anime, the series currently has 4 anime seasons. These anime seasons can all be found on Crunchyroll. The rest of the series will be animated into movies,for which fans will have to wait for a theatrical release. The release date, in this case, depends on their country.
