I Reincarnated As An Evolving Space Monster Cover 1

5Reincarnated As A Space Monster

Not The Weirdest Of The Bunch, But Still A Hard Pill To Swallow

Reincarnated As A Space Monsteristhe dream of all Ridley Scott fans made true, and the story of one of those fans who always played as the monster, who is suddenly transported into the game world to play as the larva from one of those Xenomorphs.

It begins feeding on a cat (much like in theAlienmovie) and then goes from there slaughtering the whole crew. But then it gets really weird: there are space pirates, a secret organization, political conspiracies, and powerful alien-human hybrids hunting him down. Definitely not the weirdest thing out there, but filled to the brim with Gore and some baffling holes in the plot that are better ignored if readers want to enjoy the story. Take it with a pinch of salt.

Kasiya in Crimson Karma

4Seoul’s Station Druid

Zombies, Vampires, Wuxhia Elves, And A Bird-Man: Whacky Is The Word

The story of a person sent from Korea to live for a thousand years in another world, then brought back to Earth to discover that the same phenomenon has occurred to thousands of people and altered Earth, opening the planet to Inter-Dimensional Cultural Exchange and Trade, but also, to the perils of creatures from other worlds. This is the story of Park Sooho, who has become a powerful archdruid, and his dream is to collect new pets and create a paradise on Earth as the manager of his new Government-leased land.

The story becomes weirder and weirder by the minute since zombies are invading, then there are vampires invading, and after that, beings similar to elves but living in a Wuxhia world where there is no magic but only martial arts. Somewhere in between the International Awakener tournament and the fact that this guy loves to turn into a bird, all reason and cohesion have been lost. However, the story is still worth a shot if readers love overpowered characters with weird abilities.

3Crimson Karma

Perhaps One Of The Weirdest Isekai Of All Times

Girl Meets Boy, but with a twist: he is sent to kill her, but they end up killing each other. Now, she gets sent with a fractured memory to a world of sword and sorcery, in the middle of a succession war between two princes. Then, there’s a magician who wants her dead for some reason, and it turns out he’s the reincarnation of the murderer. It’s all too convoluted, and the plot is a mess. But the story somehow comes together somewhere in the middle.

For moments, it is a romantic comedy, and then it goes back into a political drama. The characters do not know all too well what they want, but they get into the weirdest of situations, wrestling between them for the love of a woman they barely know, and who in all honesty, could be there to murder them both. She is actually destined to kill them and end the war, but she stubbornly refuses to keep killing. Nobody knows what they want in this story, and the plot spirals down into a weird kaleidoscope of teen drama staged by awkward adults who are supposed to be powerful political leaders.

2The Lout Of The Count’s Family

Filled With Weird Creatures And Characters

The story begins with a young Korean worker who is addicted to a certain series of novels, and when going back home from work he ends up being sent by truck-oppa to the very same world where his favorite characters live. Only that he is reincarnated as a lazy member of a Count’s family, despised by everyone. But as the story progresses, he stands to correct that by doing some “optimization” in the plot. All with the sole purpose of living a comfortable life.

Why does it get weird? Well, first, there are talking foxes who can shapeshift into children, then, a talking dragon, then talking whales who also happen to become human-like. There’s an awful lot of talking animals who can change into human form. So, well, there are tons of weird situations, but the story is quite wholesome and filled withgood power of friendship moments.

1Resetting Lady

Things Get Messy With The Plot, And Really Weird

At some point, this was a manhwa about reincarnation, then it became about time travel, and now it’s some kind of psychological time loop where the main character has decided to murder everyone she loves, including her father. The worst part? The father agrees with her. So now, it is some sort of Isekai Slasher, if we had to define it somehow.

The plot is a mess, the author doesn’t know where the story is going to lead next, and neither do the readers. But that doesn’t mean it’s all bad. There are good romance moments, despite the murderous yandere main character who wants to break free from an unending century of re-living her life up to her 19th birthday. It gets shifty and weird throughout Season 2, especially after she discovers one of the reasons why she is constantly reincarnated.
