FromSoftware’s bread and butter is the Soulslike genre that game to be with 2009’sDemon’s Souls. Popular Twitch streamer Kai Cenat recently beatElden Ring, which inspired him to explore the developer’s roster and giveBloodbornea try.
Unfortunately for Kai Cenat,the streamer’sBloodbornemarathon has been divisiveamong the game’s community. From accusations of cheating to criticisms of his avoidance of optional bosses and exploration, manyBloodborneplayers haven’t been thrilled with the streamer’s run at the game. However, this hasn’t stopped Kai Cenat from calling for aBloodborneremaster and PC port. This has been on the wish lists of manyBloodbornefans, but Kai’s hopes probably won’t do the trick.
Kai Cenat’s Bloodborne Remaster Hopes Won’t Be Enough to Convince Developers
A Bloodborne Remaster Has Been Requested For a Long Time
FromSoftware is highly skilled at crafting rich, beautiful worlds that are just as horrifying as they are compelling.Elden Ringmay be the magnum opus of FromSoftware, butBloodborneis one of the standout entries in the developer’s list of titles.The art design and lore behindBloodbornemake it a special game, which has naturally caused many fans to beg for a remaster or remake for years now. It has now been nearly a decade sinceBloodbornewas launched, and there still has yet to be any possible remaster in sight.
This is the main reason whyKai Cenat’s requests for aBloodborneremasterare null and void. If the game’s large fan base hasn’t been able to inspire FromSoftware to develop a remaster, then Kai Cenat most likely won’t. Cenat has said, “I definitely have the power to bring attention onto a topic within the Souls community. I’ll attempt to push the narrative for something to happen.” Due to Cenat’s large audience, this is technically true. However, Kai Cenat’s power only goes so far, and it’s debatable that he is popular enough to warrant an entire remaster production to be birthed from his wishes.
Just as is the case with remaster hopes,many have been asking for aBloodbornePC portfor just as long. These hopes have been a years-long process now, and rumors of a remaster or PC port on the horizon seem to pop up at least once a year. At this point, Kai Cenat stirring the community feels more like beating a dead horse instead of offering anything of true substance.
A Bloodborne Remaster and PC Port May Just Be Wishful Thinking At This Point
The hard truth is that aBloodborneremaster and PC port unfortunately may not happen. This has been a long-awaited dream for many fans of FromSoftware’s catalog, and there still has yet to be any news about it becoming reality.Whatever FromSoftware has in store nextwill have a lot to live up to afterElden Ring, and although news of aBloodborneremaster could meet those expectations, it feels unlikely. At the end of the day, FromSoftware will give the green light to aBloodborneremake only if it says so.

Despite no remaster,Bloodborneat least continues to inspire FromSoftware, giving players a little extra taste of the gothic-themed horror title. If FromSoftware wants to make aBloodborneremaster and PC port, it will happen. Until then, it’s highly unlikely that the influence of anyone will inspire the developer to spring into action.
