World of Warcraftjust shared a blog post giving players a digital tour of the eight dungeons found in the four zones inThe War Within, as well as the bosses they will encounter in the instances. Fans will find many landmarks in the newWorld of Warcraftexpansion, many of which become battlefields they will fight challenging foes upon.
The release ofWorld of Warcraft: The War Withinis right around the corner. Early access for players who pre-purchased the Epic Edition starts on August 22, while the full launch arrives on August 26. Once it is out, fans will be able to explore the Isle of Dorn, The Ringing Deeps, Hallowfall, and Azj-Kahet – thefour new zones coming inWoW: The War Within– as they hunt down Xal’atath.
To hype fans up forThe War Within,World of Warcraftjust released a blog postbreaking down major landmarks of Khaz Algar, including the dungeons and their respective boss encounters. The zones coming inThe War Withineach contain two dungeons: one that players can challenge while leveling up, and another scaled to max level. While they can challenge them with others, fans can also enter all eight instances on Normal difficulty alongside NPCs using the Follower Dungeons system introduced inWoW: Dragonflight.
These dungeons will have multiple levels of difficulty, with The Stonevault, The Dawnbreaker, Ara-Kara, City of Echoes, and the City of Threads even appearing as Mythic dungeons duringWoW: The War WithinSeason 1. There are a lot of changes coming with Mythic dungeons in this expansion, with greater rewards and difficulty levels, a daily lockout, andnew Affixes for Mythic+ dungeons inWorld of Warcraft: The War Within.
Though these dungeons will provide an exceptional challenge for players, their hardest battle in the upcomingWorld of Warcraftexpansion will be in the Nerub-ar Palace raid. Fans can battle Queen Ansurek and her minions on Raid Finder, Normal, Heroic, or Mythic difficulty, but will also have the opportunity to face off against her in Story Mode. Thisnew type ofWorld of Warcraftencounterlets players experience the conclusion of the raid in a soloable experience, without needing to worry about grouping up with others.
The Normal difficulty for these dungeons will be available as soon as early access starts on August 22, but Heroic dungeons won’t be accessible until the full launch on August 26.Mythic dungeons inWoW: The War Withinaren’t available until September 10, with Mythic+ opening up a week later, so fans have plenty of time to hit max level before worrying about pushing keys.
