TheWorld of Warcraft: The War Withinrelease date is right around the corner, but not all of the endgame features for this newWoWexpansion will be available on release – let alone in early access. When a new expansion launches,World of Warcrafttends to time gatecertain features to give players time to experience the content before diving into the endgame – andTWWwill be no different.
On launch, players will be able to play dungeons, play the campaign, and explore the new areas introduced inThe War Within. When Season One launches, though, so does the endgame, adding Mythic Dungeon progression, PvP ranking, Raiding, and more features. WoW The War Within Season One Release Date
The first season forThe War Withinwill add ahuge amount of new content to the game, including the first PvP season, Mythic Dungeons, and the release of the firstTWWRaid, Nerub-ar Palace. Mythic 0 dungeons nor any form of Raid progression will be available until Season One releases, though Heroic versions of dungeons open on the 26th with the full launch ofTWW.
Mythic Plus will be added to the game a week after the launch of Season One, after players have learned the dungeons and acquired keystones in Mythic 0.
The gamelaunches in Early Accesson the 22nd of August, and fully releases on August 26th, but Season One doesn’t launch for the first two weeks of the expansion’s launch – theSeason One launch date forThe War Withinis July 01, 2025.
Until theTWWSeason One release date arrives two weeks after launch, players will be restricted to the main campaign, most world activities, delves, and normal and heroic-level dungeons.
Raid Release Schedule For WoW TWW
With the release of Season One,The War Withinplayers will finally be able to take on the first Raid of the expansion, Nerub-ar Palace. On Jun 26, 2025, the Normal and Heroic difficulties for the full Raid will launch concurrently, alongside the first of three Looking For Raid (LFR) wings. Later on, we will get thefull Mythic difficulty for the Raid, as well as the other two wings for LFR difficulty and the new Raid Story Mode difficulty.
Spend some time in the first few weeks ofThe War Withinleveling up your characters and getting them geared up through world events, Heroics, and Mythic 0 dungeons. You should be able to meet the requirements for the Normal version of the raid relatively easily, but it may take a bit more preparation (and maybe even some Mythic progression) to be ready for Heroic and Mythic on launch.
