Every Soulslike game offers a series of challenges, whether through difficult boss fights or navigating hostile terrain. In these harsh environments, backtracking to old locations to open locked doors or revisit NPCs can be tedious. Fast travel makes this process manageable, and the feature unlocks fairly early inWuchang: Fallen Feathers. Here is everything you need to know about how fast travel works and how much players need to progress before unlocking it inWuchang: Fallen Feathers.
How to Fast Travel in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers
At the start of the game, players will have to complete the tutorial, which introduces them to the game’s mechanics and also NPCs, some of whom have requests that you can complete. You will be introduced to a Shrine, which acts as a checkpoint where you can level up,acquire skills, and this is where you will respawn if you die. You will only have three options available at the time, so you must progress through the game.
From the Shrine, head down to fight the tutorial boss, and regardless of your result, the courtyard will change, and new enemies will spawn here.Going down the stairs in Reverent Temple, head right and go through the open gate. The path ahead should be linear, and you will soon come across scaffolding that you can climb up. At the top, you will find aShrine that you can offer Blood to activate.
It is here that Fast Travel will open up, andyou will be able to teleport to any Shrine that you activated beforehand. While teleporting to a Shrine, you might notice a gray portrait of an NPC. This indicates that you have not completed their quest in that area.
Since notall the Shrinesare on the main path, you might miss a few, so you’ll need to explore all possible areas.
Most NPC questlines require you to explore areas and bring back an item to them. Since the items can be miles away from the NPC, fast traveling to a nearby Shrine makes completing these quests much easier.
