Wuchang: Fallen Feathershas a lot of weapons players will be able to make use of. However, players will only have a small handful of weapons early on. There is a skill tree foreach category of weapon, and players will be able to get their hands on at least one of each of these categories.
Players will not just be given these, though, and if they pass one by, they may go a large portion of the early game without ever being able to try that type of weapon. Players will also want tograb some good benedictionsto go with these weapons.
The Halberd
This weapon will be found shortly after the first shrine. Players will have a longsword as their default weapon, but the Halberd gives them a lot ofstunning power as an axe weapon. Its charged attack allows them to commit a lot more face damage early on. Its tree will give plenty of strength bumps. It’s just a great weapon for the very early parts of the game before getting a full catalog of weapons.
Where to Find the Halberd in Wuchang: Fallen Feathers
After players activate the first shrine in the game, they will see some stone stairs going down from the way they came. Heading down these stairs and looking slightly to the right, they will see a campfire. There will be a non-hostile NPC by this campfire. After speaking with this NPC andfacing the enemies that follow, players will be teleported back to the first shrine.
Head back down the stone steps and dispatch the enemy at the bottom, then dispatch the two enemies at the campfire. Players will see an open door in the wall. The Halberd can be picked up just outsidethe Reverent Temple.
Optionally, the Halbert can be purchased from a merchant called Wu Gang for 1500 Red Mercury. This merchant will travel around as you progress through the game.

The Darkfrost Edge
The One-Handed Sword category is the only weapon tree with a dedicated magic track. It will allow players to passively generate Skyborn Might and build stacks to make it generate even faster. Players can make some truly godlike builds that can trivialize boss fights.

From the Lightzen Templeshrine, players will backtrack along the way they came to the Temple and immediately see some enemies near some exploding pots. This weapon is on the table next to these enemies.
The Empyrean Greataxe
A clear step up from the Helbard is the Empyrean Greataxe. This weapon’s Swift Draw lets the user leap into the air to avoid attacks entirely and then come crashing down. It alsoscales with statsfor more damage to its strength nodes. Players will want to look at nodes that will make their Swift Draws harder to interrupt and turn this into a true monster of a weapon.

Players will want to leave through the Shu sanctum door opposite its shrine. This will be the same path that would lead to the Ming Armor enemy. There will be a ladder on the right-hand side. If players pass this ladder, they will find a broken bridge with a glowing object in the middle. Players can either use the ladder route or walk across this broken bridge, as it is actually an invisible bridge.
Whichever means players use to cross the gap, they will turn left and make their way down the path along the gap. Eventually, they will pass a part where a larger enemy will break through the doors. This weapon is where the enemy will burst into.
Players can pick up the Un-Equilibrium Blades at this location, although they are not as good as another pair of Dual Blades on this list.
Players will continue down the path and eventually up a path where there is a gunner and 2 dogs. This will lead them to a village. Progressing through here will lead to another large enemy that will roll a large stone at players.
Keep heading in this direction, and players will find a new kind of enemy. Killing this enemy will give them a new fire spell. There are 2 paths forward from this enemy, one on the left and one on the right.
Take the right path, and a hostile NPC will come out of a house and charge the players. Go up the stairs of this house and then up a ladder. Players will find a red-eyed enemy on the roof and this axe on the same roof.
This is near the entrance tothe Gluttonous Monstrosity boss fight.
The Firearm Blades
These weapons scale with both Strength and Agility, which means if players run out of space in the dedicated weapon tree, they can tap into any of the others to leech some of these nodes for even more power. Its Swift Draw allows it to take shots at enemies with bullets, as these are also gunblades. These are far better than the Un-Equilibrium Blades that Wu Gang sells.

Players will continue from where they got the Empyrean Greataxe and find a tree they can kick down to make a shortcut back to the Shu Sanctuary. Head along the dirt path and take the right turns until you find a wooden walkway with another big guy who will push a rock down.
Head down and make a right turn to find an archway. There will be some dogs on the right. Take the left into the small square where some small red enemies are. At the end of this path will be this weapon.
Players can also open a shortcut back to Shu Sanctuary opposite the archway they came through.
The Steampowered Spear
This spear is not as strong as the Red-Tasseled Spear, which players will pick up much earlier in the game. However, its superior damage scaling and AoE Swift Draw make it a game-changer for players that really love the spear fighting style, especially after Tempering.
Both have Aerial Bulwark that can grant Skyborn Might. So players can make a build that uses both their Swift Draws in a dual spear build.

Head to the shortcut mentioned above. Turn left before coming to these doors, and players will find some stairs going down with an enemy on them. Go through the next set of doors and follow the path down, where a bamboo shoot will pop out and run away. It will run past a cave in the wall. Be sure to kill it to collect it. Inside this cave there will be a panda that players can give the bamboo shoot they just got to get this weapon.
The Lashing Whip
With superior damage scaling and longer range, it’s no surprisemany longsword enthusiasts praise this early-game weapon. This weapon can take some time to get used to.

From the Mercury Workshop shrine, head around the red centipede-looking bridge to find 2 gunners. This weapon is on the same platform as these gunners. Take them both out, and then inspect the cloud of purple smoke with the yellow-glowing pickup to find the weapon.
