Xbox Game Pass Ultimate Adds Day-One Game and 2 Beloved Classics

With only 10 new games, October has been one of the least release-packed months of 2024 for Microsoft’s subscription service. But things are now seemingly picking up again, not least becauseXbox Game Pass already has 7 confirmed titles for November 2024.

Xbox Game Pass Ultimate

The first three of those includeMetal Slug Tactics, a day-one release that’s scheduled to reach the XGP content catalog circa 9am ET on November 5. Meanwhile,StarCraft RemasteredandStarCraft 2: Campaign Collectionhave already been added to Xbox Game Passaround midnight. Since neither of them has a console version, they are exclusively playable via PC, and don’t support Xbox Cloud Gaming. As forMetal Slug Tactics, the new turn-based strategy game will be both streamable and available on PC and the latest two generations of Xbox consoles.

Following the arrival of theStarCraftseries, the number ofActivision Blizzard titles on Xbox Game Passhas now increased to seven. The service previously addedDiablo 4,Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3,Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy,Overwatch 2, andCoD: Black Ops 6, in that order. Activision Blizzard still has plenty of popular titles that are yet to make their way to Xbox Game Pass, such asSpyro Reignited TrilogyandTony Hawk’s Pro Skater 1+2.

As for what’s next for Microsoft’s subscription service, Xbox Game Pass Standard is scheduled for a notable expansion on November 6. That’s the date whenGo Mecha Ball,Harold Halibut,The Rewinder, andTurnip Boy Robs a Bankwill be added to its content library. All of these titles have already reached PC Game Pass and XGP Ultimate between January and April 2024. Beyond that,Goat Simulator RemasteredandMicrosoft Flight Simulator 2024are set to arrive on November 7 and 19, respectively.

While this concludes thefirst wave of the Xbox Game Pass November 2024 lineup, the service already has several more confirmed wave 2 titles. The first of those isSTALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl, the much-anticipated and repeatedly delayed immersive sim that’s currently targeting a November 20 release. Critically acclaimed metroidvaniaNine Solsis then set to reach the XGP catalog on November 26. Before that happens, Xbox Game Pass will lose seven titles on November 15, includingLike a Dragon: The Man Who Erased His Name,Persona 5 Tactica, andDungeons 4.
