Konami officially rolled out a trio of new packs forYu-Gi-Oh Master Duelon Thursday, debuting a new Selection Pack and two new Secret Packs. The new Selection Pack,“Geas of the Light,” introduces two decksbased on the originalYu-Gi-Ohanimewith both Yugi’s “Shining Sarcophagus” theme and Joey’s “Flame Swordsman” cards. “Illusion Beast’s Roar” adds both the “Chimera” and “Darkest Diabolos” themes to the game’s Secret Packs, including new card “Nightmare Apprentice.” The “Madolche” and “Nemleria” themes also received their own Secret Pack, adding new cards like “Madolche Queen Tiarafraise” and “Madolche Mini Meowcaroons.”
Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel Releases Three New Packs
Alongside the plethora of new cards added to the game,Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel’s Selection Pack features brand-new support for a variety of popular older decks. The Selection Pack adds new cards to the “Melodious” archetype used by Zuzu Boyle intheYu-Gi-Oh ARC-Vanime, which also saw play in the physical TCG following their release. The “Snake-Eye” theme also received a particularly notable upgrade with the Selection Pack, adding “Snake-Eyes Diabellstar” as an important combo piece for the deck.
Yu-Gi-Oh Master Duel’s newest packs follow the addition of plenty of exclusive bundles coming to the game as well. A recent event saw the introduction of a pair of newHalloween-themed cards toYu-Gi-Oh Master Duel, with “Hallo, the Spirit of Tricks” and “Ween, the Spirit of Treats” coming with their own event and cosmetics. Konami also debuted an exclusive bundle themed around the “Evil Twin” archetype, including alternate arts for “Evil Twin Ki-sikil” and “Evil Twin Lil-la.“Yu-Gi-OhMaster Duel’s newest update looks to bring plenty to the table for fans of the online card game.
