Instead of jumping off the pond’s ledge like Nintendo likely wanted people to, they start by luring a Bokoblin near the base of the Temple of Time. They then shield bounce off the unsuspecting monster, killing it and sending Link flying. Once airborne again, Pheasant flies over the lily pad circle, dives in, and unlocks the seed. It’s certainly not the easiest way to get the first of the18 Korok seeds on the Great Plateau, but it may be the most stylish.
People Are Still Finding New Breath of the Wild Tricks and Tips
Despite having several years with the game,Breath of the Wildplayers are still discovering new ways to play it. BOTW’s openness was a huge risk for theZeldaseries, which had a long-held reputation for sticking to the formula before the Switch rolled around. It’s certainly paid off, though, if fans can come back to the game year after year and still not play it the same way twice. There are rumors that the franchisewill move away fromBOTW’s gameplaystructure in future entries, so it’ll be interesting to see how that impacts replayability.
