Zenless Zone Zero’s lineup of new characters for the Version 1.4 update has already been the subject of plenty of rumors. Following Tsukishiro Yanagi’s release in Version 1.3, leaks have suggested Version 1.4 will introduce two more members of Hollow Special Operations Section 6, with Asaba Harumasa and Hoshimi Miyabi said to be joining the roster. HoYoverse already confirmed one of the rumored characters late last week, teasing Harumasa through the game’s official social media accounts. Now, one ofZenless Zone Zero’s most highly-anticipated characters has been confirmed.
Zenless Zone Zero’s newest official “Agent Record” teaser on the game’s social media accounts shows off new S-Rank character Hoshimi Miyabi. The post reveals that Miyabi will join the game as an Anomaly character, with leaks previously suggesting thatMiyabi will debut as an Ice Anomaly unitinZenless Zone Zero. Her element has become a point of contention among fans, however, with the icon used for Miyabi’s element in the teaser visuals being markedly different from the standard Ice icon. Miyabi is expected to release during Version 1.4, with the update scheduled to launch on December 18.
Zenless Zone Zero Teases New Character Hoshimi Miyabi
Miyabi’s long-awaited debut inZenless Zone Zerocomes as players have already been given an idea of how the character will play. Miyabi was first featured inZenless Zone Zero’s first closed beta test, with her kit at the time focused around lightning-fast swordplay and powerful attacks. Miyabi’s pre-release kit has often drawn comparisons toDevil May Cry’s Vergil for her flashy and powerful attacks.Miyabi has also featured prominentlyin the story forZenless Zone Zero’s “Hollow Zero” game mode alongside her fellow Section 6 members.
Zenless Zone Zero’s lineup of characters for Version 1.4 comes following a pair of exciting additions in Version 1.3 as well. The first half of the updateintroduces Section 6’s Deputy Chief Yanagias a Lightning Anomaly character, with fans already impressed by her staggering damage output. Version 1.3’s second half will see the debut of the final member of the Sons of Calydon, with Lighter joining the game as a new Fire Stun character.
